What is your printing tolerance for cosmetic tubes?
Printing tolerance depends on the printing method, tube diameter, artwork and surface geometry.
As a practical production reference, the typical printing registration tolerance is approximately ±0.3–0.5 mm for applicable screen-printing and hot-stamping projects.
For logos, small text, multi-colour registration or other position-sensitive artwork, the acceptance standard will be confirmed against the approved artwork, the sample and the actual decoration process before mass production.
We recommend confirming critical printing requirements during the sampling stage rather than relying on one universal tolerance for every packaging design.
